Description
Atlassian Stack Patching Guide (v3.0.0.3)
General Information
Older versions of the Atlassian Stack are supported. The previous method involved patching only one file (atlassian-extras or obr\upm). The new method (for modern product versions) requires patching atlassian-extras + key-manager.
Patched JAR files have been tested with Java 8 and Java 11 (may work with Java 17). Compatible with the original DVT keygen (currently only for the previous method and older product versions). Many plugins are supported, with the ability to apply for custom ones.
Requirements

Windows 7–11
-
.NET 9
Instructions
-
Open the keygen.
-
Select the key and method.

Patch the JAR files (if they haven't been patched yet).

Generate a key and apply it.

How to Use
1. Determine the Product Type
-
Outdated: If
key-manager.jaris missing. -
Modern: If
key-manager.jaris present.
2. Choose the Patch Method
-
It is better to choose a pair of VL keys. If you previously used an agent, you can use it.
-
Use patching version #1. Versions 2 and 3 are not needed in 99.9% of cases.
3. Installation and Patching
-
Install your product. DO NOT run it.
-
Copy 1 or 2 files to the system using the keygen. File naming may differ depending on the product, but their names contain "key manager" and "extra decoder".
4. Plugin Installation
-
For modern products (post-2022): UPM does not need to be patched.
-
For older products: UPM must be patched.
-
Download the plugin via the built-in marketplace or the Atlassian website.
-
In UPM, find the plugin key name and copy it into the keygen.
-
If needed, experiment with the DataCenter flag and other parameters.
-
Generate and paste the license.
Note:
Modern UPMs can safely self-update and update plugins through them (98% chance of no issues). If the UPM is old, it is better not to update it, or patch it later.
